HOW TO GET UDON THANI BUS TERMINAL
Udon Thani has a few meter taxis. The most common forms of local transport are by tuk-tuk and songthaew. You can find tuk-tuk in most commercial areas. Negotiate a price before taking the ride. Sonthaew cost is 8 or 10 baht per trip.
If you end up at Udon Thani Bus Terminal 2 and want to go to Udon Thani Bus Terminal 1, there is a songthaew for 10 baht or you can catch a tuk-tuk into town for around 80 baht.

Udon Thani Bus Terminal 1 is an old style bus station, most of which is outside under a large metal roof. Udon Thani Bus Terminal 1 is very close to lots of shops and the city’s largest shopping center, CentralPlaza, which sells everything you might possibly be looking for and is air-conditioned. Toilets at the far end of the waiting area, a small shop selling drinks and snacks near the toilets but food stalls on the far side of the bus parking lot.
