Practically there is no train service from Krabi to Bangkok because Krabi does not have train station. The nearest station is at Surat Thani station where you can take train to Bangkok. Hence it is inconvenient to take train travelling from Krabi to Bangkok because it requires shuttle service from Krabi to Surat Thani and train service from Surat Thani to Bangkok.

Taking flight from Krabi to Bangkok is fast and is taking only 90 minutes. The drawback is the one-way flight ticket fare is expensive with an average of THB 2500. If you manage to plan and book way in advance, you may get cheaper ticket as little as THB 1500. For those budget backpacker, flight is not the best option.

Direct bus from Krabi to Bangkok is more convenient than train and costs much cheaper than flight. The only drawback is the time consuming journey because of long distance between the two cities.
