GENERAL INFORMATION OF CENTREPOINT PIER
Centrepoint Pier stands as one of the primary gateways to reach Koh Chang, a gorgeous island in Trat. Specifically, the pier is located in the Laem Ngop District. Ferries departing from Centrepoint Pier usually drop passengers off at Dan Kao on Koh Chang.
Please note that another pier, known as Thammachat Pier (or Ferry Koh Chang Pier), is also situated in the same district. While both serve the island, Thammachat Pier ferries arrive at Ao Sapparot Pier. Consequently, you should be aware that the distance between Centrepoint Pier and Ferry Koh Chang pier is around 10 km.
DEPARTURE & ARRIVAL
Passengers planning to go to Koh Chang via Centrepoint Pier must first visit the ferry terminal to buy tickets. After you obtain your ticket, you will pass through a departure gate. Then, a shuttle mini bus will pick you up and take you directly to the pier. This service ensures that the mini bus drops you off closer to the ferry boarding point.
Meanwhile, upon arrival, the shuttle mini bus picks you up from the pier and returns you to the ferry terminal. Once you pass through the exit gate, you can easily take a songthaew. These local vehicles provide convenient transport to Trat Bus Station or any other destination.
HOW TO GET TO CENTREPOINT PIER?
If you are traveling from Bangkok, you can either fly to Trat Airport or take a bus. Furthermore, you can reach Trat from Pattaya. The bus from Pattaya to Trat, provided by Phet Prasert, departs from their local office and drops off passengers at the main Trat Bus Station.
From Trat Bus Station, many songthaews are available to take you to the ferry terminal. However, if you arrive at Trat Airport, you might have to hire a private transfer or book a shared minibus to reach your hotel in Koh Chang.

At the ferry terminal, you will find ticket counters and an information desk. Additionally, you can find a counter that sells bus tickets back to Bangkok. Clean toilets are also available for the convenience of all passengers. Moreover, the shuttle mini bus ride from the terminal to the boarding point only takes around 5 minutes.
