Another famous bus operator to offer buses from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap is Giant Ibis Transport. Note for Departure Point and Arrival Point

Phnom Penh does not have a centralised bus station. Usually buses leave from their own shop unit or bus station. Mekong Express coaches leave from the station at Mekong Express office in Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh.

Most buses arriving in Siem Reap terminate at Siem Reap bus station, which is 3 km east of town. Passengers need to take tuk tuk to get to the hotel in the town area. Travelers can take the flight for Phnom Penh to Siem Reap at Phnom Penh International Airport. They can also take a return trip from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh with Cambodia Angkor Air.

Phnom Penh to Siem Reap by Speedboat

Speedboat does run between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap during their wet season in July and March. It is nice and fun to travel by speedboat from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. In fact, it can be one of the highlights in your Cambodia trip because the speedboat journey offers glimpse of Cambodian rural life on the river. Speedboat ticket cost is USD35. Kindly note that the speedboat may not meet international safety standards and is notorious for break down fairly regularly resulting in cancellation.
