Travelling from Hatyai to Koh Samui involves the minibus and then ferry service to reach the island. Koh Samui is an island of natural beauty and charm, a paradise where everyone can enjoy the holiday. Travelling from Hatyai to Koh Samui has two portions of journey.
The first part is by minibus or van from Hatyai to Raja Ferry Port (also called Donsak Pier), taking about 4.5 hours land journey.
The second part is by ferry to Koh Samui, taking about 1.5-2 hours sea journey. Raja Ferry Port (Donsak Pier) is the main pier to go Koh Samui.

The minibus or van departs daily 9.00am, 10.00am and 12.00pm from Hatyai to Surathani Raja Ferry Port (Donsak Port). As the road journey taking about 4.5 hours to reach Raja Ferry Port (Donsak Port), passengers would be on time to catch the 2.00pm ferry service to go Koh Samui directly. Alternatively, you may take 3.00pm ferry service to Koh Samui so that you can have about 1.5 hours time for simple lunch at the cafe in the Port.
The ferry service frequency is almost 1 hour per schedule, starting from 6.00am to 7.00pm.
The joint service ticket price is charged at THB650.
